How many visits to your blog?

How do we know how many people have visited the blog? Is there a tool for this? Can we be set up to use Google Analytics?

There currently is not a tool for this, but it is being planned for the forthcoming upgrades to the site. We have been testing it recently, it won't be anything like google analytics though, will just be a this article has been read X times.

Just on a side about future improvements for the blog, would it be possible to have catergories within your blog?

E.G within the Peterborough blog, you could put a 'general football section', 'Peterborough issues', 'Player profiles', 'Match Reports', I don't know whether this would be possible, or indeed if you agree this would be a good thing for the blogs.

Any idea of a rough date when this will be implemented? Would be great to see how many readers the blogs actually get.

Need to test it some more first, perhaps a trial on the Posh blog could be a good idea!

It is installed now, the thing to remember with it, is that it will only show reads from today, so it can't tell you how many times anything was read before today. Stats start at 0 as of now.

You should be able to see it in your edit posts tab at the right hand side.

Give it a few days make sure it is updating correctly, then let me know how it is working. You should notice the greatest results after a new posting.
